I took these pictures on Thursday when we woke up to yet more snow but with sunshine and turquoise skies. We've had more snow since, but today it's raining as well, making the snow totally slippery and turning the black runs on the toboggan slopes into death runs! Thursday was still and beautiful and calm. The roads were clear so we could get about again. It was snow at its finest.
I'm sure you could sell that one of the horse on it back, making snow angels.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos - have fun while the snow lasts!
I don't know whether the blessings of snow and the calming effect it seems to have on a frenetic life outweigh the logistical problems encountered of reaching shops when the milk runs out. But your pics are magic and I guess the children have loved it.
ReplyDeleteLove Maisie's snow angel! Beautiful photos Mags - we must enjoy it before it becomes a pain in the behind! We are back to rain today, which is perhaps just as well as we had to rush one of the cats to the vet.
ReplyDeleteThat's very beautiful. None of the white stuff here, sadly, just rain and more rain.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow, here in Gower it was the wet snow that landed on us, still putting off the bin men etc but just enough for snowmen!! That pony is a fab shot!!
ReplyDeleteJust utterly beautiful. We are still living with real snow. I have been loving it but am beginning to get a bit nervous about getting out on Tuesday. The world encroaches.
ReplyDeleteSnow angel rules.
I love the top two Mags. The light quality in the first is amazing and as for the dog-angel! Ready for spring now though aren't you? We have torrential rain here again...yuk xx
ReplyDeleteI have finally found all the pieces to my camera... charger lead to pc etc 6 months after starting my blog[!], but now your pics are so good I dont know where to start!!
ReplyDeleteMy excuse will have to be it is now raining here!
Brilliant pictures Mags, and love the one of Horse on his back.
ReplyDeleteNo more snow here, but very cold and wet.
xx
Fab photos.
ReplyDeleteI love that pic at the top of the footprints. Brilliant. Hope you haven't now had storms to boot.
ReplyDeleteSuperb pictures. Loved the horse on its back especially. I'm finding it very tricky running in the snow, though....
ReplyDeleteLOVE those photos - partic the first and last.....they are just beautiful and would make wonderful cards. Love Maisie too but have seen that one before so not such a surprise....
ReplyDeleteNow that last sentence makes it sound like I'm surprised you took such good pictures, which of course I'm not! Aaaaghhhhh.
